Stage 01 of 04
Every case starts with a conversation. You tell us what happened, in your own words — and we tell you honestly whether an investigation is likely to help.
Overview
The confidential review is designed to protect you from wasting time and money. Before any paid work begins, an investigator reads your submission, asks follow-up questions and looks at the basic facts: what was lost, how, when, and what records exist.
From that, we assess whether a trace or investigation is realistic. Some cases have strong leads — funds that reached a known exchange, an identifiable platform, preserved devices. Others don't, and we'll say so plainly.
If an investigation makes sense, you receive a written scope and quote. If it doesn't, we'll explain why and point you to the most useful next steps, such as reporting to the police or your bank.
